The storyline approach uses narratives to explore the implications of climate change on particular decisions. Storylines can help distil the overwhelming amount of information available into a few compelling narratives that motivate action and decisions by relating plausible changes in climate to real-world experiences.
In partnership with Western Australia’s Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) and the Water Corporation of Western Australia, Climate Systems Hub scientists applied this approach to the western Pilbara to explore future water availability for the catchment.
