Our 2025 Research Plan

The Climate Systems Hub’s 2025 Research Plan outlines our strategic priorities and research activities for the year ahead. This year, we launched 10 new research projects that address Australia’s most urgent climate science needs—supporting adaptation planning, risk assessment, and evidence-based decision-making across the country.

In addition to these new initiatives, two ongoing projects from 2024 will continue into 2025, building on previous work and expanding their impact. Together, these 12 projects represent a nationally coordinated research effort, bringing leading researchers, institutions, and partners together to deliver practical and accessible climate science.
