The 2024 National First Peoples Gathering on Climate Change (the Gathering) brought together over 130 First Nations, Elders, youth, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders from across Australia and internationally. The Gathering was held on Tubba-Gah Country from 14 to 18 October 2024.
The 2024 Gathering built upon previous Gatherings on Yorta Yorta Country (2018) and Gimuy Walubara Yidinji and Yirrigandji Country (2021), and for the first time, included global Indigenous voices from Aotearoa (New Zealand), Fiji, the US, and Canada.
